Relax in Cardiff Airport’s Executive Lounge

//Relax in Cardiff Airport’s Executive Lounge

If you’re flying out of Cardiff Airport, book your family into the Executive Lounge because it’s perfect for starting your adventure amid relaxed surroundings while admiring the views across the Vale of Glamorgan.

We were catching a flight to Kefalonia and enjoyed the experience of relaxing in the lounge rather than trying to find a seat in the busy departure area outside.

The light, airy executive lounge offers a private bar with an array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, light bites from a selection of local products, complimentary newspapers and free wi-fi.

The lounge opens between 5am and 9pm each day (except Saturdays from November to April when it closes at 5pm plus Christmas Day when it’s closed) and there is a maximum stay of three hours.

Although the light bites are the kind of items you’d normally associate with breakfast, we still enjoyed the food on offer. Attentive staff kept a close eye on the counters and regularly filled up the cereal pots, etc.

We received a warm welcome at the lounge’s reception desk and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, relaxing amid these tranquil surroundings is the ideal way to start your holiday and we’d certainly book again.
