Packing for holidays, even if it’s just a long weekend away, can be tiresome, especially when it comes to choosing which toiletries to take. Flying, of course, brings the added headache of ensuring that any liquids or creams are kept in containers not exceeding 100ml.
Well, RINGANA, a highly-respected Austrian company specialising in vegan skincare and supplement products, has addressed this issue head-on and, as a result, has produced four vegan-friendly travel sets, all of which come in a handy, transparent travel bag which can easily squeeze into your hand luggage.
Depending on one’s skin type, the sets – which cost around £53 – are marketed as FRESH travel set light, medium or rich; there’s even a set for men, too.
As an example, the medium travel set contains myriad products, including FRESH Body Wash, Shampoo, Deodorant, Body Milk, Foot Balm, Hand Balm, Cleanser, Hydro Serum, Tonic Pure and even Tooth Oil!
While the cleanser helps remove dirt and make-up, the tonic pure reduces the skin’s oil content and hydrates facial skin. For an additional boost of moisturisation, reach for the hydro serum.
There’s a product for, seemingly, every need. Take the Tooth Oil. This, apparently, ensures effective tooth care and fresh breath while the stay fresh product is a cleansing foam that instantly transforms toilet paper into a wet wipe!
On a recent trip to Cornwall, we were able to test out the medium travel set. Particular favourites were the Body Wash, which lathered very well with just a subtle, non-overpowering scent. The Foot Balm, which has an almost minty aroma and affords one’s feet a lovely cooling effect, was a pleasure to use, too. Also, we thought the Stay Fresh liquid was a clever idea, transforming – as previously mentioned – toilet paper into a wet wipe for all day freshness whilst travelling.
RINGANA’s products aren’t the cheapest but, of course, one must bear in mind the amount of research and development involved in producing quality products. The company uses raw materials and all their products are free from synthetic preservatives.
Overall, they were all very pleasant to use and being designed specifically with travel in mind is definitely a bonus, allowing customers the chance to keep all their travel essentials in one place.
Our only negative is that, perhaps, some of the products, like the Body Milk and Hand Balm, could have been produced in slightly larger sizes because we feel they might be enough for, say, one or two nights away but could be too small for a week’s holiday.
